Placements and work experience are an important way to improve student employability and begin a successful career within their chosen industry. Placements for UCFB students to date have included positions in football clubs, governing bodies, sports brands, leagues and start-up companies.
Our current students have gained experience in an impressive array of careers whilst at UCFB, including sports journalism, digital marketing, website management, photography, broadcasting, sponsorship activation, coaching, sports law, event and retail management.

Evo-stik Northern Premier League
Through our partnership with the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League, UCFB provides students with the possibility to be a part of a senior management team seconded to a football club. You will engage with the club in a team of five, each adopting the role most relevant to their degree subject area such as Media Manager, Finance Manager or Marketing Communications Manager.
These work opportunities vary in duration and can run from one year to the full three years of your time at UCFB. This allows you to gain a number of years of work experience in the football industry to show a track record of delivering results for your future employer.
