Admissions Officer – UCFB Wembley Campus

Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 (including London weighting) dependent on experience
Hours: Full Time
Contract Type: Fixed term/ Maternity cover

The Role

UCFB is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Admissions Officer to assist with our admissions processing until October 2019. The post holder will be expected to take on a complex and varied role, assessing applications to our Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes via UCAS and direct applications.

Working as a member of the Marketing and Recruitment team, the post holder will work closely with members of the Admissions, Academic, Tier 4 compliance and Recruitment teams to support UCFB recruitment and help to maintain academic quality.

Key Tasks

• To work with Admissions Assistants to ensure that enquiries via phone, email and in person are handled in a timely and professional manner
• To support UCFB recruitment and conversion events and activities where required, taking a lead role in the provision of advice and guidance
• To process applications to UCFB on both Postgraduate and Undergraduate degree programmes, assessing both UCAS and direct applications and issuing decisions and responses.
• To work closely with Admissions Assistants to maintain applicant communications throughout the admissions process and ensure that applications are complete and fully documented
• To ensure that CRM admissions data is updated at all times, working with the MIS team to ensure data quality
• To provide guidance and support to applicants and UCFB colleagues on admissions, application and UCAS procedures
• To participate and play a key role in the delivery of confirmation, clearing and enrolment
• To work flexibly and responsibly and undertake any other duties relevant to the level of the post
• To undertake staff development and professional training in line with the business objectives of UCFB
• To work with the policies of Health and Safety and Equal Opportunities

Working hours: Working hours normally 8.30 am – 5pm but may involve additional and unsocial working hours depending on the nature of the event and occasional travel between campus.
