Graduate Alice heading to Kenya to volunteer and coach with Notts County

One UCFB graduate is preparing for a life changing trip to Kenya where she’ll be volunteering as a sport coach and teacher in the schools of Nakuru.

Alice Kelk, who left UCFB in 2016 after graduating from the BA (Hons) Football Business & Media programme with a first class degree, has taken up the opportunity with Notts County Football in the Community to visit the town and its children, around 100 miles north west of capital Nairobi.

A UCFB graduate will present and discuss her dissertation on suicidal behaviour and its relationship with professional football at an upcoming conference on the future of the game.

Alumnus profile: Alex Brown, Video Producer at The Football Association
