Students play their part at leading sports finance conference

Students had the unique chance to quiz some of the leading names in sports finance at a recent conference in central London.

The Finance in Sport conference, hosted by Premier Sports Network (PSN), brought together over 150 elite level sports representatives from around the world of sport to discuss topics concerning the finances of some of the world’s biggest operators.

Nigel Adkins tells UCFB students: ‘You are going to have successes and you are going to have failures’

With over a decade of managerial experience, Hull City manager Nigel Adkins spoke to UCFB students at a recent Executive Guest Speaker session to give them expert advice on how to deal with the pressures of being a football manager.

Adkins’ top tip was, that with football being such an intense and demanding industry to work in, some sort of release away from the game is vital.

Students battle it out for £1,000 prize in inaugural FIFA tournament

UCFB students are set to compete for the chance to be crowned eSports champion and win a £1,000 prize.
