UCFB Burnley Men’s First Team win league title

Following another successful football season UCFB Burnley, the Men’s First Team were crowned the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Northern 6C Football League champions following a 5-0 victory against Keele University in a momentous final match of the 2014/15 season.

UCFB validated as FA Level 2 Coaching Centre

At UCFB we are delighted to announce that UCFB are now one of very few higher education institutions that deliver FA Level Two Coaching training internally. This will add to the existing FA Level One capability which was obtained last year, enabling those students who have passed their FA Level One Coaching Award to progress smoothly on to the next level and the journey to becoming an FA Licensed Coach.

UCFB, A World First in Higher Education teaching university degrees in the football and sports industries, and the Manchester Thunder, the Netball Superleague’s reigning champions, are delighted to announce a new partnership for the 2015 season.

Arsenal and England player Rachel Yankey has been confirmed as UCFB Wembley Ladies Football Team Head Coach.

Considered one of the England national side’s all-time greats, Rachel Yankey won her 100th cap three years ago and scored against Japan at the World Cup.
