Media trio experience life behind the lens for QPR Ladies on match day

Three UCFB Wembley students have been gaining great work experience as part of the media team at QPR Ladies.

Sam Smith, Tim Meakin and Nathan Kelsey, who all currently study BA (Hons) Football Business & Media, are responsible for working as a team to capture all the match action on camera. The trio divide their tasks on match day between operating the equipment, noting incidents during the game to help with later editing, and conducting post-match interviews with players and staff.

The awards are an annual event which showcases the success of those achieving football excellence, both on and off the pitch, within the north west of England. UCFB Wembley students William Lindsey and Kerry Russell are using their final year to build up their CV by gaining invaluable work experience within the media department at Reading Ladies FC.
