In 2018 UCFB announced a landmark partnership with Queens Park Rangers.
The deal with the Championship side gives students unique work experience opportunities in a professional football environment working alongside the club’s media department.
Students have already had a taste of working with the club, spending time at Loftus Road filming and interviewing the club’s academy and women’s side.
Students will also spend time with senior members of QPR’s media department to hear about their roles covering key areas such as public relations, social media and broadcasting including the club’s worldwide streaming service, QPR+.
Neil Silver, Head of Employment & Enrichment at UCFB, said: “The opportunity for UCFB students to spend time studying inside the stadium of a Championship club, alongside staff from QPR’s media team, gives them a definite edge in their degree programme.
“We are hugely grateful to QPR for facilitating these occasions because the experience gained by UCFB students is unrivalled.”
