Sending Your Results to UCFB
UCAS sends institutions such as UCFB many exam results for our applicants and in a lot of cases you will not need to take any further action. This is often the case if you are studying:
- A levels
- BTEC qualifications carrying UCAS points such as the Extended diploma
- International Baccalaureate
- Access to HE Diploma
Exam results and module grades are sent to us electronically via your UCAS application form but sometimes something with these results go wrong – your UCAS form and exam results may be mismatched, missing or even sometimes incorrect. Keep a close eye on your UCAS account after you receive your results and get in touch with us as soon as possible if you are concerned that there has been a mistake or if you think your place should have been confirmed.
If you are studying for qualifications which do not get sent to us automatically (e.g. GCSEs or international qualifications) then we will need you to send us a copy of your certificates, this can be done by scanning and emailing them to firstname.lastname@example.org. We prefer to receive colour scans but can sometimes accept a clear photograph. We may sometimes ask to see the original documentation if we have any concerns or questions regarding the validity of the results. All certificates must be received by UCFB by the 31st August 2018.
Please keep in mind that we regularly check scans of certificates for validity and forgeries and in some cases we will share certificates with third parties such as UCAS or UK NARIC to check that they are legitimate. Certificates which have been forged or doctored are taken extremely seriously and will always result in rejection from UCFB. Details of this may also be shared with other institutions through UCAS.
