Over the three years of their degree, UCFB students are placed in the context of a Director or Senior Management Team member and are required to assess football and sports situations to make real-life judgements in real time and decide on a course of action.

At the end of a session, they are often required as a member of a Board to take part in a press conference in front of the camera and questioned by a ‘journalist’. This provides insight into real-life situations of working in the sports industry as well as learning valuable interpersonal and business skills.

The opportunity to be taught by the Chief Executive of the Scottish Professional Football League Neil Doncaster, who was also Chief Executive at Norwich City for nearly a decade is an exciting opportunity to enhance our students’ personal and professional development by a top class industry practitioner.
