UCFB and Burnley Council team up to offer scholarship opportunities to students from Burnley

UCFB is delighted to announce a renewed partnership with Burnley Council that will see three students from the town awarded a £3,000 scholarship to study a university degree in the football, business and related industries at UCFB Etihad Campus in Manchester.

‘Journalism is open to all’ – Four apprentices start their journalism career at UCFB

The launch of a new apprenticeship scheme by the London Evening Standard and Independent newspapers at UCFB will send a message to readers that journalism is open to all based on merit, according to Lieutenant of Greater London.

UCFB is delighted to announce that former Liverpool scout Mel Johnson will be talking to students this week as part of the Executive Guest Speaker Series.

One UCFB student is helping to unearth the stars of the future as part of his incredible part-time role working for Premier League side Burnley FC.

Brendan Flood, who’s on the board of directors at Burnley FC as well as chairman of UCFB, will be the first Executive Guest Speaker of 2017 at both UCFB campuses.

Brendan, who has football business interests on both sides of the Atlantic, will speak to students at UCFB Wembley on Tuesday 24th February and UCFB Etihad Campus on Wednesday 25th February.
