Heading into the final year of his BA (Hons) Football Business & Marketing degree at UCFB Wembley, David Moat has racked up a number of brilliant work experience roles during his time at the institution.

As well as his current role at Watford FC, where he’s been working with their business and sales team for 18 months, David has also spent time with Sky Sports and Dugout – a digital media provider.

Now on his CV David can add Manchester City, where he worked with the club’s social media department. At City, he helped to push out content on their various social platforms and worked to increase engagement in the club’s brand by increasing the likes and followers on each platform.

Speaking about how he gained the opportunity, David said: “I got the role through using LinkedIn proactively, that’s how I have got all work experience bar the Dugout opportunity which I got through UCFB.”

While at the Premier League giants, David also sat in on meetings with external companies hoping to strike up deals with City.

Rightly proud of his time at the club, David added: “While at City we published the club’s most popular post in history. We discussed how to announce new signings and how to make them go viral.”
