IT Technician
Salary: £27k – £32k dependent on experience.

Location: UCFB Wembley
As part of our continued expansion we require a reliable, self-motivated and customer focused IT Technician, with good interpersonal and communication skills, to support our IT function at Wembley Stadium. We seek a versatile and adaptable individual committed to providing high quality technical support and to deliver practical sessions in addition to providing support, guidance and supervision to staff and students across UCFB Wembley.
Key responsibilities
- To support on the planning, delivery and implementation of all technical systems at UCFB Wembley, as well as providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support to ensure that UCFB Wembley is able to operate effectively at all times;
- Providing 1stline user support to staff and students at all times as required;
- Working with the academic team and library services to ensure that suitable technology is in place to support the academic curriculum termly;
- Dealing with change requests to existing systems;
- Ensuring that all IT projects are planned and executed effectively, as well as working to support other departments including Marketing & Student Recruitment and Student Services with their projects as required.
Person Specification
- A minimum of two years experience in a similar setting;
- A good degree in IT (2:1 minimum) or equivalent IT based qualification;
- Experience of education based technology i.e. Moodle;
- A sound working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Outlook, Office Applications, Tablets, iPads, Samsung Galaxy and Android;
- Ability to install and fix printers, set up smart boards and a variety of audio visual equipment;
- A can do attitude;
- A solid team ethic;
- The ability to handle confidential data;
- A high attention to detail;
- The ability to multi-task and work to multiple tight deadlines;
- The ability to build sound relationships with people of all levels of seniority.
